Bird over East River - Minox
This is my best known photograph from this series. It was taken as I stepped of a NY Waterway ferry onto the dock area. I saw this bird from the corner of my eye and simply lifted my Minox camera into the air and hoped for the best. I was shocked when I saw the negatives that I had gotten the image .. from there the rest is history. It was published in NY Arts magazine some years back with just a small bit of text about me. More than that though, this image has touched so many and continues too as people discover it in our gallery.
This is a 5″ wide print matted with linen and a deep bevel made in ultra suede. The frame dimension is about 17″ x 17″. Price is currently $260 with frame but you can call or write to confirm. Prints with no frame are about $95. All of this series is signed by artist on the face of the print.
