Cedar Bar
One of Lisa’s best known paintings the story of which is very interesting. An entire article has been written by Lisa about this fine painting and we will be adding it to this space very soon. For now here is the short story:
This painting was painted in Pietro Antonio Narducci’s studio in New Jersey. Narducci was a founding member of the abstract expressionist movement, and a friend to Lisa Strazza late in his life. The Cedar Bar was a Greenwich Village hangout favored by the young abstract Expressionist painters in the 1950’s.
